no autorec recordings after upgrade from stock Ubuntu package

Added by Paul Sijben about 7 years ago

In order to try and solve a pixelated DVB issue, I upgraded from the stock Ubuntu tvheadend to the tvheadend packages, so I am now on 4.2.4-10~g0771e34

I can watch TV and record on demand (so the DBV cards work).
Hoever autorec entries, while being activated, do not result in a file being recorded.

I am not seeing any errors. Does anyone have an idea what is going on here?

Paul

aha, found an error
Nov 5 11:09:30 ediii tvheadend1134: dvr: "Mythbusters" on "Discovery Channel" recorder starting
Nov 5 11:09:30 ediii tvheadend1134: dvr: unable to find access (owner '(null)', creator '(null)')

But this issue seems to have been solved 2 years ago. ???

ah found it. Because I was using no login for the web interface. I got no owner associated with the autorec entries. The code did not like it.
So I worked around it by forcing login and changingthe owner of all my autorec enctries...
