-1 from me
Too many windows
If there is a OSD controls and EPG will be very good app
for now VLC + HTSP plugin is better.

Tanks for your advice, i will make it better, all suggestions are precious!

OSD will be in next update for sure!

P.S. EPG is present in a basic way, right click on a channel and there will be a "show EPG" option

the app looks great. there is one problem. it does not seem to want to recognise my server, although all the provided info are correct. can you assist in this matter? tried both internal and external IP address of the server. the credential are working because i have them in kodi and saved already in a playlist that i use from vlc from time to time.

RE: New Tvheadend macOS client - Added by Alberto Cecconello almost 7 years ago

hi dorin, tvh-x works with http api on port 9981, the user account you use to connect must have web interface enabled and optional admin access(for mosaic and other features), kodi works with htps protocol on port 9982 and does't need web interface access.

i can check your config also if you let me access your tvheadend server
feel free to contact me, use this https://tvhx.wordpress.com/ contact form and it'll reply you via mail if you have further problems.

RE: New Tvheadend macOS client - Added by dorin ilut almost 7 years ago

i think i figured out what the problem was. the account i am using is my admin account. just created a secondary account by using test with password test. with this account it works. my admin account has a rather more complex password involving special characters. as soon as i changed the test user password to the same one i use for my admin account it did not want to connect anymore. the special characters contained in the password are @ and !. can you check if any of these two break something in the code?

RE: New Tvheadend macOS client - Added by Alberto Cecconello almost 7 years ago

i'll check and probably this is the issue, i'll fix it and publish an update soon.

Tanks for finding out this ugly bug!

Bought it but it's money thrown away!

Everything is in separate (very small) windows. Makes it look like the '80's. Mosaic does not work. No EPG at all.

Did not find any useful function.

RE: New Tvheadend macOS client - Added by Alberto Cecconello over 6 years ago

I am sorry for that, i tested mosaic and EPG with DVB-T and DVB-S and they works well, what kind of DVB system you are using?
If i can have an access to your tvheadend instance i can debug and bug fix it!
