EPG one hr fast
Added by Rob Walker about 7 years ago
Hi All
I'm running HTS Tvheadend 4.3-584~g5f843530a on debian 9
I have set the time zone in this as Europe/London.
Date -u and date
show
Sun 22 Oct 19:39:22 UTC 2017
Sun 22 Oct 20:39:22 BST 2017
So correct but i cannot for the life of me get the EPG to line up.
Its always showing things +1 Hr.
I have set the EIT as UTC+1 in the network but it never seems to update the EPG even after triggering the OTA EPG Grabber.
Anyone got any ideas.. Im sure its simple (much like my mind at the mo)
Cheers
Rob

Do you set summer time ;)
Set time to something in same time zone, or GMT.

Debian knows its BST here currently and the time is displayed correctly in the webGUI for TVHeadend. Just the EPG is out.
The EIT only has "UTC" "-/+" Hrs and "Local (Server) Time"
Im sure by the odds if set it correctly but i need the EPG to update to reflect the correct time. I Just dont know how to do this as i dont think its realtime. As even setting it to UTC -9 hrs has no effect..
Iv tried rebooting.
Triggering the OTA EPG Grabber.

I have EIT offset set to UTC and have no time issues here for any of the UK Grabbers.
If you change the offset you may need to stop tvh and delete the epgdb.v2 file in your config.
