DVB-T2 won't work! arghh!
Added by Bill Gates about 7 years ago
Setup with a Wetek Play 2 running Libre-ELEC and TV Headend. DVB-T Mux (UK Freeview) all scan no problem. Issue is, all DVB-T2 Mux all fail with:
017-09-30 00:53:10.094 mpegts: 626MHz in test - tuning on Sony CXD2837ER DVB-T/T2/C demodulator #0 : DVB-T #0
2017-09-30 00:53:10.095 epggrab: 626MHz in test - registering mux for OTA EPG
2017-09-30 00:53:10.113 subscription: 0035: "scan" subscribing to mux "626MHz", weight: 5, adapter: "Sony CXD2837ER DVB-T/T2/C demodulator #0 : DVB-T #0", network: "test", service: "Raw PID Subscription"
2017-09-30 00:53:15.093 mpegts: 626MHz in test - scan no data, failed
Transmitter is Sutton Coldfield.
Also.. another issue is.. while SD channels tune in on Kodi - the picture quality is blurry - played around with resolution and interlacing etc. with no luck.. the old DVR looks so much clearer!
Thanks

Firstly, hello fellow midlander!
If you can receive DVB-T it should receive T2 no problem. Make sure you're selecting "DVB-T2" as the delivery system.
As for blurry picture this is unfortunately due to how little bandwidth channels get on Freeview. Your other box may be doing some clever trickery to hide the blur, sharpening/upscaling etc. Software decoding tends to be a little worse compared to hardware decoding as well.

Hello there!
have been trying with the delivery system set as DVB-T2 - issue is still the same - see screenshot of my current settings when trying to scan for BBCB HD mux below:
is a real shame about the image quality - surely it can't be this bad - even text such as when seen on adverts is unreadable!
Thanks

Set the Guard/Hierarchy and FEC to AUTO & try again.
