TvHeadend restart no reason
Added by Dave Cumming about 7 years ago
Hey guys,
I'm using TVH for IPTV 24/7 online grabbing channels (no transcoding, only passthrough) CPU at around 60-70%
when it work its work flawlessly, but in approx every 24 hours it disconnect for one second and return back to operation what makes some overload to CA modules and corrupt DVR files on 3rd party transcoders...
Any chance to fix that immediate restart?
Thanks!

What do your logs say just before the restart occurs?

Location of logs may vary based upon your OS/distro. That's a device I've never heard of, so I can't help you.

I would seriously consider upgrading to 4.2.3, the current version. 4.1 is quite outdated by now.
RE: TvHeadend restart no reason - Added by Dave Cumming about 7 years ago
How to do it while preserving current configuration?
It's running on centos 6.8...
Thank you very much
RE: TvHeadend restart no reason - Added by Robert Cameron about 7 years ago
Configuration files are the same, so just upgrade in place. Install the up-to-date version from your OS repos.
