DVB-C Network: Germany de-Unitymedia pre-defined MUX-List 2017/08
Added by Michael Menen about 7 years ago
Hi all,
please find attached the adjusted pre-defind MUX-List for Germany: de-unitymedia.
UnityMedia has changed the Frequencies for all of the channels 27/28 August 2017.
I have adjusted the pre-defind MUX list.
I will keep this list up to date if needed.
Simply copy the file into the folder ./usr/share/tvheadend/data/dvb-scan/dvb-c/
and reload the tvheadned service.
Michael

Hi all,
quick update.
Libreelec is using the folder
/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.multimedia.tvheadend
Not sure which folder the MUX-list is stored.
Might be "channel" or "input"

Many thanks!
Unfortunately I am not able to find the pre-defined MUX-List under Synology in tvh.
I copied the file to this folder:
/volume1/@appstore/tvheadend-testing/share/tvheadend/data/dvb-scan/dvb-c/

Can anyone help?
This path does not exist in my Synology: ./usr/share/tvheadend/data/dvb-scan/dvb-c/

Hi together
@Kurt:
The path you are looking for might be this one:
/volume1/@appstore/tvheadend/share/tvheadend/data/dvb-scan/dvb-c
(at least that is true for my DS214play, tvheadend installed from synocommunity through the Package Center)
Michael Lob:
Thank you for providing the list!
However I encountered an issue and wanted to ask about your opinion. When I use the list and wait for the scan to complete I end up with 45 Muxes and only 8 end up with scan result "OK", the rest says "FAIL".
I use a Fritz!Box 6490 Cable with its 4 build in tuners. For whatever reason I had to enable just a few muxes at once and have them scanned, disable them, enable the next 3 or 4 and scan again. This way I was slowly but steadily able to have all muxes scanned successfully.
Do you have any idea why this is happening?
Hopefully I won't have to repeat the process, because like the way it is right now it feels very cumbersome.
Then again, I had to setup everything again because of Unitymedia changing frequencies etc. last Tuesday (I live in BW) and so I can't really control if and when I would be required to setup tvheadend again. My ordinary TV with its ordinary tuner did not require any action...

Hi all,
- Scan has been done but most of the Muxes are in "IDLE - FAIL"?
No worries ;-)
I don't know why this happens but it can be solved.
Go back to the Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> Network tab
Select you network and press the "force scan" button.
Go to the Muxes tab and watch the "Scan Status" column until each row says "idle".
Mots of the Muxes shows FAIL in the Scan Status.
For each FAIL I did the following:
Selected the row -> pressed EDIT -> set scan status to ACTIVE manually.
After a short while the the scan status switched to OK and I was able to map the failed muxes.
Hope this will work for you as well.
Michael

How many Muxes do you have ? I have 61 and found 495 Services , but I'm missing all Sky Bundesliga Channels. Did they change the freq ?

Hi,
I do not have a Sky-Abo but as far as I can see these Channels are still inside Mux 170MHz.

Strange .
If I delete all all Channel entries in your file except two for example. I would think that there should only be 2 Muxes inside TVheadend right ? But that is not the case . Even if I add two or more , the number of muxes does not increase or decrease.
