Post process EPG and extract episode number form description

Is there a way to post process the EPG loaded from DVB-C and extract additional info (E.g.: Episode number) form the subtitle/description?
This is the description /subtitle:
(dokumentumfilm sorozat, 7. rész)
where 7. rész should be converted to the episode number of the show: 7
