[Solved] Raspberry network crash after a few time because of TvHeadend
Added by Arthrax One over 7 years ago
Hello,
I have made a fresh install of LibreElec 8.02 on my Raspberry Pi 1.
Then I have installed package TvHeadend Server 4.2.
Everything configured correctly.
Then from another device, I have installed TvHeadend Client and everytime it works for a few seconds or minutes and crashed :(
When I checked the server : it has lost network. No ip is present in configuration and I can't set one.
If I disabled TvHeadend service, network come up again.
For server part I have also try with a fresh install of OpenElec 8.04.
For client I have try with a Raspberry 3 with OpenELEC and on Windows 10 with XBMC.
For TNT USB key I have tried with a August DVB-T202 and a Medion LIFE P89055.
Same issue everytime.
Do you know what is wrong ?
Thanks

Sounds like a power issue. How are you powering the Pi?

Thanks for your response
I use a Aukru Raspberry Pi 3 Alimentation 5V 3000mA. I have also try a Phone LG 5v 800mA but same issue.

Isn't the recommended power for a rpi3 2.5amps? And you have additional items connected right? Try powering the sticks/devices using a powered hub connected to the Pi.

I use a rpi 1 and yes the 3 Amp is for a rpi3 but it is workink anyway.
I have no other device connected on. I use it only for tvheadend.
I will try with a powered usb when I will find one. Thanks for the advice.
Do you know where I can found tvheadend log on LibreElec to make a check ?
Thanks

Only my TNT USB Key is connected
LibreELEC:~ # lsusb -v | grep -e 'MaxPower' -e 'Bus [0-9]'
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 187f:0202 Siano Mobile Silicon Nice
MaxPower 100mA
Sometime it is working for 1 hour, sometime it is working for 5 second

I have made a test with my RPi 3 as server and everything is working fine with the same OS, key and cable...
So I guess I have a hardware issue on my RPi 1.
Thank you Marc for your help
