Goal is HLS or UDP Multicast output to an ABR transcoder. Any way to make this work today? (Or pass TVH output to ffmpeg locally)

I'm looking to run a home lab that involves an ABR transcoder and separate HLS Packager. The HLS Packager can ingest either UDP single or multi bitrate and HLS.
The transcoder can support a few extra formats and I could use this to create ABR output.
Can anyone suggest any ways to make this happen? I'm stuck on how to get the output from TVHeadened.
I guess I could use a separate tuner and use another program to create the output.
Or pass TVH to ffmpeg and have it create the UDP ABR for me?
Can I pass TVH output to FFMPEG.
