comet failure [e=this.el.dom is undefined]
Added by Star Scream over 7 years ago
Hi there,
first of all i hope that this is the right place for my post.
I use Build: 4.0.9-16~g63c1034~jessie @ OpenMediaVault 3.0.71 with Sat>IP from an DD Octopus Net (Astra 19,2 only) and realized a problem for the mapping process.
On several TV-Stations i just get the above error message in the log as soon as i click "map selected" -> "map" inside the service tab. No further details are logged.
Two stations for example, which not work:
- rhein main tv (changed on astra)
- health tv (new on astra)
Other channels work fine,for example:
- Deutschland Vozrozhdenie (new on astra)
All channels are not encrypted and i do not have any encrypted media, which i would like to watch. Free to air only.
"Play" from within the web interface (DVB Inputs -> Services) works fine.
All i found searching for the message above is a ticket for encrypted channels and the hint to install tvheadend from scratch. I would like to prefer a less destructive way, because tvheadend serves the whole house with tv and it could be hard for me, if i need some days for the complete new setup

comet failure [e=this.el.dom is undefined] is a browser bug, it shouldn't stop services from mapping.
The channels that do not play, what errors do you get in the log?

Hi Mark,
thanks for the fast reply!
The channels can be played through the web interface, but they are not mapped to the channel list.
The mapping window just opens, but nothing happens and even hours later the channles do not appear in the channels list. The only message in the system log (through the web interface) is the message above.
Any actions i can perform with SSH on the server?

If it's just the few services you can manually create the channels & then link the services via the services tab.
But seriously, that error shouldn't prevent mapping.
If you're really stuck, come join the #hts IRC channel on freenode & ping me (mpmc) & I'll take a look via teamviewer if you'd like.
