Timeshift does not work on some Channels
Added by Paul Brunniem almost 8 years ago
Hi,
I have the following setup:
- TVHeadend unstable 4.1x
- IPTV auto network with .m3u source coming from a local network openatv receiver (icon force 2)
TvHeadend has scanned the file and has all muxes/services contained. Watching TV is working. I use Kodi as Client.
My issue is that on some channels the timeshift recording does not work.
My Settings are
unlimited time/size
path /home/hts/timeshift
Example:
subscribe to KIKA HD
- in /home/hts/timeshift/buffer/1 a file tvh-0 is created and gets bigger
- Kodi is not able to rewind
- pause and resume is possible (resume is on same position as pause)
subscribe to 3Sat HD
- in /home/hts/timeshift/buffer/2 a file tvh-0 is created and gets bigger
- in Kodi I can pause,resume,rewind, everything
What is causing this issue? Which info do you need to help me?

Do both channels have EPG? IIRC Kodi can't rewind/ff when there is no EPG data.

Hi, actually I had problems with the EPG. With EPG it's working. Thanks
