Login failures web interface
Added by Box Son over 9 years ago
Hi,
sometimes it's not possible to log in to the web interface at my tvheadend installation.
I can enter the credentials in the login window and after hitting the button the login window appears again.
The interesting part is, that if i enter the credentials of a user with low rights, the login succeeds.
After successfully logging in with a user with low rights, i can log in with my admin user.
TVHeadend runs at a debian linux (jessie) on a intel Xenon hardware.
hopefully somebody can help me in diggin in to this problem. I tried to find something at the log (syslog) but couldn't find any helpful information.
A restart of the server didn't help.
Regards
Boxson

Next time you manage to log in, disable digest authentication in the Configuration>General>Base tab. Try using private browsing mode to get in then disable digest auth.

Doesn't help.
I've disabled the Digest Authentication.
Then i've restarted the whole system
I've cleaned the browser caches
Still the same situation:
- I have to log in with a user which is not admin, loggin this user off, and after that i can log in with admin.
Any other ideas?

Please post a screenshot of the user configuration for a user who can log in and one who can't.

This is a user i can log in with:

The "admin" has no special user-entry in configuration as i know ?
To log in as admin i need to log in as "jens" first, log off and the log in as admin.
A direct log in as admin does not work.
