Get DVB-S2 channels from ethernet

Added by Josu Lazkano about 8 years ago

Hello,

I have a Tvheadened server working great with IPTV channels. I have a satelite conection far away from the server, there is a ethernet connection between sat and Tvheadened. I want to use 2 DVB-S2 device to get thoose satelite channels and stream them to Tvheadend. I need to use 8 different transponders from Astra19.2E.

How could I configure it?

I try to install mumudvb in a Linux server, but I can not stream more than 2 transponders with 2 DVB-S2 devices. Is there any other software I could use? Something like HDHomeRun.

I will appreciate your help.

Best regards.

And how could I add channels in the main Tvheadend?

Is there any guide or tutorial?

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Thanks saen,

I will configure a Raspberry Pi as SAT>IP for start playing.

In the main Tvheadened, in the Network -> Add, I don't have "sat ip tuner", I have "IPTV Automatic Network" and "IPTV Network". I am missing something?

I really appreciate your help.

Best regards.

Settings> general > stop
Ther3 is a button, then must appear in runners tab

Thanks saen,

I have no Stop option in Settings -> General.

I will try to add as IPTV.

OK,

Yet there is no the secondary Tvheadend installed.

Do you mean to "Discover SAT>IP servers" button? The secondary will be in other network. The main server is in 192.168.1.0/24 network and the secondary will be in 192.168.2.0/24. There is a good link, so this will not be a problema.

Best regards.
