Channel Editor or Importer that works with 4.1
Added by uni matrix almost 8 years ago
Hi,
Im running the latest development version for a few days now as newcomer and I googled the web for a channel editing software or for a converter from formats, where there is good editing software already (like enigma2). Related to E2 I found both a shell script as well as a GUI tool that supports converting to THV, but they dont work with the config structure that seems to be modified in the 4.2. branch.
Is there anything out there or maybe work in progress projects at least?
Or are there any sources for ready-to-use channel settings (I am living in germany) for typical SAT configurations?
I have used VDR for 6 years now but since there is KODI V17 I am in the process of exchanging that with TVH which seems to fit better for me especially with the timeshift features, pretuning, etc.
Thanks!

Tvheadend 4.1 supports importing enigma2 bouquets, you basically create a new bouquet (via the bouquet tab) and point it to the .tv file. I personally haven't tried it but it should work.

Hi, thanks for the hint. I did that and it works pretty well. It even updates the bouquet automatically when I change the .tv file.

Hi,
Wetek Play (1) user here. I've put chlist into external web server and TVH seems to update box list only after reboot. Is there way to trigger channel list reload e.g. periodically or something?
