Changed username, not able to login

I have one user on my tvheadend installation. Me, the administrator. I run it on my Synology. Was working fine, but I noticed that the username for my Synology and my tvheadend installation were different. So I wanted them to be the same. Opened the usertab, changed it and saved it. Left the password unchanged.
Now I am not able to log in. Am I missing the obvious?

In the meantime, I've read somewhere that someone (-: had a problem after installing TVheadend and using the same name as the master account of his Synology. That didn't work. But how can I reverse it? It took me some time to get it working.....
