Can I build tvheadend backend on Armbian?

Hello everybody,

I am about to buy Orange Pi PC (http://www.orangepi.org/orangepipc/), and its seems like Armbian (http://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-pc/) is the most stable distribution for this board.
I am planning to install Jessie server Armbian on the board and use it for Tvheadend backend server.
Can I easily build tvheadend on this distribution as this guide instruct? https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/Building

Excuse me if this is a dumb question, I am new to Linux systems, so I prefer to ask before buying any hardware.

Tvheadend builds fine on both armv7 and aarch64.
