Nobody has had this same problem?

Firstly, have you:
- Created a network.
- Added muxes.
- Assigned the network to an adaptor.
- Enabled the adaptor.
It can take up to 10 mins or so for a scan to start, you can test if your network is working by playing one of my muxes (copy and paste the mux link into VLC).

Thank you Mark for the reply.
Now i get this error after adding the firmware to the proper location and trying to scan:
segfault at 352e303d71b3 ip 00000000004929e5 sp 00007fff4d5920e0 error 4 in tvheadend[400000+148000]
Im going to reboot my computer and try again
thanks,
David

Ok, open the bottom panel (system/tvheadend log) try playing a mux and watch the output from that panel, it should give you the reason for the failure.

Use the Tvheadend HTSP Client Plugin, it's available usually with Kodi on most distros
Glad you got it working :).
RE: configuration troubles - Added by david graff about 8 years ago

Ok, you need to go to services tab and map the ones you want as channels, (use ctrl/shift + click to select multiple entries) then press the [Map Services] -> [Map Selected] from the menu bar.
Once you've done that, you need to close and reopen kodi, make sure that you've enabled "TV" in Kodi (it's in the settings, but iirc if you've enabled the client that should be enabled already). When you next start Kodi it should pull in all your channels from the backend (tvheadend) and you should be good to go :).
If you're running 4.1.xxxx the [Help] pages should give more info
