Assigning New Channel Number Problem

Hi, When I assign a channel a new available number and save the number on the server, the channel number remains set for several days or until the server is reboot after which the channel reverts to its original channel number.
Anybody any ideas why this is?

Under Configuration > Channel/EPG > EPG Grabber

You've not got 'Update channel number' checked have you?

Also - if you are using bouquets it will automatically revert to the broadcast channel number. I think unchecking 'Automatically name from network' in the channel view stops this but I can't guarantee it.

Thanks very much Jonathan for your response to my thread, I have checked and yes 'update channel number' was checked (cant believe I missed that) I guess the problem should be resolved now.
