Channel deletion.

Hi Chaps simple question here I have been using TVheadend for a while and it is great. the problem I have is that when I delete a channel it pops back, so I have to disable it within the channel menu. can you let me know where I am going wrong. I have switched off IDLE channel scanning.

I want to be able to delete the channel as I can highlight a lot more using shift, where as if I to disable them I have to click the tick button to remove it and this takes a long time when I have 2k+ channels to go through

A channel (listed in Channel / EPG) should not just reappear unless you're using a bouquet, in which case this is correct behavior, you can however disable a channel and it should remain disabled unless the underlying service gets changed in some way, new pids, name change etc AIUI.

If you're using 4.1.x you can mass edit selected entries. Highlight the ones you want to disable (using shift/ctrl+click) and press the edit button - just click the checkbox before the setting to apply it to all selected.
