Full Mux Reception in 4.1
Added by Adam W over 8 years ago
I was wondering if anyone knows a way of enabling full mux reception in newer versions of TVHeadend?
I know this feature existed in 3.4 but I haven't seen it since then, I'm running 4.1-1284.
I'm trying to stream some hidden data PIDs from satellite transponders on Hispasat 30°W (e.g. PID 8006 on 12671V) but TVHeadend's default filtering filters this out, so a muxdump does not include the data.
If I stream the transponder with VLC in budget mode (no filtering), the PID 8006 data is passed through as I want.
I want to disable the filtering, is this possible?
Thanks in advance!

There is a play link in the Muxes tab. This streams the complete mux, you may want to disable the SI table rewriting in Configuration -> Stream -> Stream Profiles -> Pass.
Remove the /play/ path in the link to get the stream rather than a playlist..

Brilliant! Thanks for this. This passes the data through now, and also works a lot better than VLC in budget mode, which used to give me "cannot demux data fast enough" errors.
