Tvheadend stopped working after update to 4.1-1678~gae6c645

Just upgraded to the above version and TVH stopped working at all. Looking to the files, it seems that the main directory .hts has been created under my home instead of the usual "hts", so obviously if I run tvheadend it run but I lost all the configuration.
Is there any reason why the path was changed during this package install?
Any way to fix this?

This is running under Ubuntu 15.10

Just for info... I have uninstalled the above version, downloaded the build 4.1-1670 (the one I had previously) and installed and it back working properly.

In any case it would be great if someone can provide any input about this related issue...

I have the same problem (with the last 2 versions, also today's 1684 release). The daemon runs, but logging on using the web-browser, or also via a PC running Kodi, fails. Forcing the older 1672 release and everything is OK again.

I can't see any differences in the directories though as mentioned above...

I'm running MakuluLinux 10 XFCE (the 64 bit version).

Since version 1698 and 1701 it is working again. Just so you know that you can upgrade again.
