EPG Filter Content Type - anyway to edit to not show certain types - say anything except News, Shows, and Sport

Newbie here - as far as TVHeadend goes.
Regarding the TVHeadend (web interface) EPG, Filter Content Type - I can select certain content type, News etc
But is there anyway to edit to stop showing certain types. i.e. when I'm searching for a documentary, instruct it not to include News, Game Shows etc.
The reason is that documentaries can be in various classifications, some do not have any type listed, but they are not typically in News, Shows, and Sport. So if I could search for anything except News, Shows, and Sport I would come up with a more useful list.
(Like Channels, I can classify them myself - Good, Not so Good, Bad and Ugly.)
BTW I have Raspberry PI 2 (Soon to be PI3) running OSMD 2016.02-3, Kodi16 using the Confluence skin, with TVHeadend 4.07 back and front. Recording to an external drive on a powered hub.3 Realtek 2832 TV-D dongles (sometimes 4 - a old RTL3820).
Took a while to figure it all, but running very well now.
Many thanks ...

Good idea.
I could use that also. The EPG my end only gets some items correct.
I'm not sure, but may need an extra selection criteria.
