Sat>IP Triax TSS 400: Can't find any channels
Added by Andreas Barrud almost 9 years ago
Hello,
I am stuck getting tvheadend (Build: 4.0.8~jessie) running on an Raspi2 (Linux raspberrypi 4.1.16-v7+ #833 SMP Wed Jan 27 14:32:22 GMT 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux) to find channels on my Sat>IP device.
My setup can be seen in the attached pictures.
I have chosen the Predefined Muxes for the Astra satelite under networks.
Does anybody has an advice what i can do to get this to work?
The errors I get are like this:
016-02-06 16:00:07.000 mpegts: 12551.5V in astra - tuning on SAT>IP DVB-S Tuner #1 (192.168.188.29) 2016-02-06 16:00:07.000 opentv-skyit: registering mux 12551.5V in astra 2016-02-06 16:00:07.020 subscription: 0009: "scan" subscribing to mux "12551.5V", weight: 5, adapter: "SAT>IP DVB-S Tuner #1 (192.168.188.29)", network: "astra", service: "Raw PID Subscription" 2016-02-06 16:01:07.000 mpegts: 12551.5V in astra - scan no data, failed

Hi Andreas,
I´m struggling with the same problem. Did you already manage to tackle it (and how).
I´ve set up tvheadend in a Ubuntu 16.04 LXD container. I can see the Megasat sat>ip server tuners, but when I force a scan I get the same errors as you did.
I´m curious about your results.
Rgds.

Hi Lin,
it was embarrassing...
I simply missconfigured my LNB in the Triax TSS-400.
So after i set the correct frequenzies for my Unicable Quad LNB in the Triax TSS-400 TV-Headend worked out of the box.
The main part I still don't understand is: the Triax IP-100 box I used to view TV worked even with the wrong settings as did the Elgato Software on my Tablet.
Hope that helps,
Andreas
