Added by emil bradu almost 9 years ago

hello community and supporter,

i am new in linux, like linux, and want to learn more about linux.
i want to stream tv with tvheadend.
i have suse leap and i have copied two firmware files needed to /lib/firmware.
i installed w-scan and can turn the tv stick to dvb-c with dvb-fe-tool.
i installed kaffeine , too.

all of these works fine, i can find channels for unitymedia which is my tv provider.
i can watch tv with kaffeine,
only tvheadend wont work.

first, sorry, for my bad english, my last english school lesson is a long time ago.
please send me replies in simple english words.

what have i done =
- install suse leap
- installed demod and tuner firmwares to /lib/firmware tried standard and v2
- install vlc , kaffeine.
- install w-scan and v4l-utils for dvb-fe-tool
- i installed packman and some media librarys at last.
- at last i installed one click option in suse linux sites for tvheadend.

lsmod =

Hello, now i come with good news.

i fixed it.

how did i done that.

i started a scan with w-scan and wrote the details for a good mux on a paper.
i insert the details in tvheadend to add a new mux , and after that many muxes are installed.

and this is that what i often read in posts, but never tried.

thats all.

so have much fun to watch tv !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks
