TBS 6909

I see tbs has this new 8 tuner dvb-s2 card but only has 4 inputs. It states the following on the website
"TBS6909 has 8 Tuners & Demodulators, but it only has 4 inputs, because it has a multiswitch inside, defining 4 inputs to receive 4 single polarity signals( Input0=VL; Input 1=VH; Input 2=HL; Input3=HH)"

Would this require anything special on tvheadend's side to allow 8 transponders to be tuned? And does it just need a quad lnb?

They don't specify exactly how the switch works, but from the nomenclature I'd guess it's just voltage for V/H and 22Khz for low high. Seems to be designed for a Universal quad LNBF. TVH lnb config would be just Universal.
Might work if you hook a dual C-Band lnbf to input 0 and 2 then your dual Non-Universal Ku lnbf to input 1 and 3. TVH lnb config would be C-Band and then Ku <LO Freq> (Hi-Band)
Could shoot them an email and ask.
