Question about version 4.07

Hi all,
I have just upgraded from 3.4 to 4.07 and under the CAs tab there are a couple of new things that I would like to ask what they are.

Firstly what does the one mux(emm) option do.

And second update card(emm)
This option was available in the old version I was using and I left it unchecked with no problems but in version 4.0.7 it's checked but still seems to work but I would just like to know what it does lol.

Read the help page it says "Update Card : Forward Entitlement Management Messages (EMMs) to the server."
