If the previous version found it then so should the newer version.

• Make sure that you've stopped your old version of Tvheadend & that nothing else is using it (check ps -ef).
• Run Tvheadend interactively & check for any errors.

The following command is assuming you're running Debian/Ubuntu and installed Tvheadend using the repositories/apt-get. You may need to tweak it otherwise

sudo -u hts /usr/bin/tvheadend -c /home/hts/.hts/tvheadend

I installed from github with tutorial from another page ,
I have a banana pi and when i do dmesg etc found my pinnacle pctv73e but in tv adapters don't see nothing
This afternoon try the command

I try the comand and here is the answer
root@cubieez:~# sudo -u hts /usr/bin/tvheadend -c /home/hts/.hts/tvheadend
sudo: unknown user: hts
sudo: unable to initialize policy plugin

Here i add the user hts and ...

root@cubieez:~# sudo -u hts /usr/bin/tvheadend -c /home/hts/.hts/tvheadend
sudo: /usr/bin/tvheadend: command not found

I don't know what can i do ?
