Any plan to update JavaScript framework to 4.x or 5.x from current 3.4?

I'm not aware of any plans - I don't think the change from 3.4 to a later version is trivial, either. I can see that it brings some improvements to e.g. touchscreen navigation, but unless there's a pressing need then it'd be low down on the to-do list.

Is there something specific you're looking for? Or are you volunteering? :)
