TechnoTrend S-2400 DVB-S - "No signal"

Added by Chris loony almost 10 years ago

Hi all,

i want also run my own TVHeadend Server to access it via Kodi, so i bought the here also recommended S-2400 - plugged one extra coax Calbe in to my LNB and Connected the adapter.

First tests with Windows are good
Then i installed an VM on my Windows machine running Debian and shared the Techno Trend S-2400 with this Machine.

dmesg shows me:
"dvb-usb: Technotrend TT-connect S-2400 successfully initialized and connected."
see Screenshot

so i installed TVheadend an running right now "3.4.27~gfbda802~wheezy"
so far so good..

Now i can select my adapter (shown as "Phillips TDA 10086 DVB-S") and i added the DVB Network by location (Astra 19.2)

debug output confirms this:
New mux "12,551,500 kHz Vertical (Default (Port 0, Universal LNB))" created by built-in configuration from "dvb-s_Astra_19_2E"

and then this happen:
Jan 22 13:08:33.121 dvb: "/dev/dvb/adapter0" tuning via s2api to "12,551,500 kHz Vertical (Default (Port 0, Universal LNB))" (1951500, 22000000 Baud, 5/6, SYS_DVBS, QPSK) for Initial autoscan

Jan 22 13:08:33.410 dvb: /dev/dvb/adapter0 started dvr thread

Jan 22 13:08:33.412 viasat_baltic: install table handlers

Jan 22 13:08:33.412 uk_freesat: install table handlers

Jan 22 13:08:33.412 eit: install table handlers

Jan 22 13:08:33.485 dvb: "12,551,500 kHz Vertical (Default (Port 0, Univers" on adapter "Philips TDA10086 DVB-S", status changed to OK

Jan 22 13:08:52.037 dvb: /dev/dvb/adapter0 stopping thread

Jan 22 13:08:52.038 dvb: /dev/dvb/adapter0 stopped thread

so i dont get any services.... what can i do..? do i have to add muxes manually?

with an old AverTV A850 i can receive DVB-T Signals and also Access with Kodi work fine (the DVBT is unplugged now)

can you help?

would be grateful
Chris
