TVheadend stream to Samsung TV
Added by Alexander Lohse almost 10 years ago
Hi,
is there a possibility to stream directly to my Samsung TV (UE65H6470 and PS50C7790). Both of them can use DLNA.
When I stream recordings which I made with TVHeadend (3.9.2293) (Matroska or Passthrough) everything works fine.
I try to use an Technisat Skystar USB 2 HD CI with an official Sky-Smartcard with TVheadend and stream the Picture to my several TVs.
Is this possible or does anyone has an HowTo?
TVheadend runs on an QNAP TS-219 PII.
Thx a lot Forward.

you can also try to feed dlna servers ( for example xupnpd, serviio ) with the live stream and access it from tv through dlna. It used to work for me with xupnpd with my old 40D8000, but since I switched to 40H7000, the tv doesn't recognizes the stream anymore, although if I stream the recorded file with another web server, it works fine. that makes me feel that something in the tvheadend streaming is different, that;s why the new H series TV doesn't accept the stream. I already opened the question in the forum ( https://tvheadend.org/boards/5/topics/14953 ), and waiting maybe someone ha a solution.
