Synchronize multiplexes and services between TV adapters?
Added by Michael Wieland almost 10 years ago
Hi,
I'm new to Tvheadend. Just installed it on my TV Server. I want to replace VDR. :-)
I got it to work with my DVB-S2 Dual Tuner (Digital Devices CineS2).
Now I have the problem that the services of the two tuners are "out of sync". Some services on adapter0 are not available on adapter1 and vice versa. Is there a way to keep all tuners up to date with all services?
As far as I know in Tvheadend each TV Adapter has it's own multiplexes with it's own services. So if I have a lot of tuners for the same DVB network (Astra 19.2E in my case) Tvheadend would manage a separate list of services for each tuner? But why?!?

I'm guessing your using an old version. try updating to a later version and the way you set up the system eliminates this.

I installed Tvheadend via the official apt repository on Debian 7 "Wheezy".
My currently installed version is 3.4.27~gfbda802~wheezy.
Isn't that be the most recent version?
EDIT: Just installed the latest beta (3.5.247~g098b7de~wheezy) but I see no difference in multiplexes and services.
EDIT 2: Gone a bit further and installed the latest unstable version (3.9.2302~g75fb7a9~wheezy) and now I see what you mean. :-)

anything above v3.9 is what people should be using anyhow.

OK, now everything seems to work well.
Thanks for the help!
