Winfast drivers

Hi ive just bought a leadtek winfast dtv dongle and im trying to use it with a synology using tvheadend it doesnt detect it so wondering how i install the drivers?
synology picks it up as WinFast Dongle mini D - Leadtek Research, Inc on the usb info

does linux detect it? run "ls -l /dev/dvb/" in terminal and see if it shows any adaptors?
looking on the page you listed I can see this info.
This device is supported by the current linuxtv media_build. It does not work out-of-the-box on linux version 3.13.0-24 or earlier. Current linux drivers should work if a patch similar to the following is applied
check your kernal version with "uname -r" if it's bellow 3.13.0-24 you'll need to look for patches.
either way you need to install the linuxtv media drivers. keep reading there site until you understand what to do as this will help in the long run.
