There has to be some infl regarding this trascoding stuff?

I have both xbmc and tvhguide users on my server. I would like to transcode the streams for the mobile users only to offload the bandwith and processing. Some of my tablets have problems with full HD mkv streams.
I would like to have original streams for my 2 xbmc boxes.

How is that going to work. I have multiple devices using same account, that is not changable.

I would setup a user for a selected streaming profile, say I wanted h264, I would create a h264 streaming profile and a user of the same name then login as that user on the devices that support h264 and so on.

I use both the clients you mention and you can change what user gets used, so I don't see how it's not changeable?
