Stream to appartment

i live in a appartment where it's not possible to install a satellite dish..

a friend of mine lives in a house with satellite dish..

is it possible to install a tvheadend server there and stream the content to my xbmc in my appartment over the internet?

Yes this works very good, just be shure you have the required bandwith, and prefferable a site to site vpn if possible but this is not strictly needed.
