The beta build have a few fixes and improvements, I think it also includes timeshift but that could be buggy (don't quote me on that it's been ages since I've used older builds - I can't even remember what it looks like).

I've been using git master for a while and it has been unstable quite a few times in the past but recently I've had very few issues and even when I've come across a bug @perexg has already found it and pushed a fix!

But if you're worried about stability stick to stable/3.4.27.
