New Dish and tvheadend
Added by Pedro Hill over 10 years ago
Hi, about two months ago i bought a dish, Selfsat H30D4 Quad-LNB, and a VU+ solo2, i set it up and everything worked flawless, zero drops/glitches. Last week i bought a dvb-s2 card for my tvheadend server and after i connected that to the dish I've had some problems. When tvheadend and the vu+ solo2 is tuned at the same time, i get video drops/glitches, but not if only one of them is tuned. Has anyone had a similar problem or might know why this is happening? I think the dish has 4 separate tuners independent of each other, so this doesn't make any sense to me at all.
Would really appreciate some help!
best regards Pedda

If you have 'power save' enabled try disabling it. (If this is an older version of Tvheadend enable 'Keep FE Open').

OK, in even older versions it's known as "Turn off LNB when idle" (I installed tvheadend 3.4.27 to find this out xD), disable this option.

Turn off lnb when idle is disabled already, this doesnt make any sense to me since the vu plus and the tvheadend server has no connection to eachother?
