Getting the same error here with DVB-C.
Reverted back to older version.

What is FE? Is it network id? (Onid)
There was alot of config changes in this version. Lots of work reverting them :-(

Same here with DVB-T
I can tune one channel direct after tvheadend start.
If I stop the playback i can't start another channel. I can restart tvheadend and tune ONE channel ONE time again. :)
XBMC show "Could not tune" or similar. In the log i can see lots of "unkown FE type"

All,
I'm aware bugs were introduced by recent commits and one just not had time (or opportunity, as I left laptop at work) to in investigate yet.
I can only suggest people don't constantly update production systems from master without first running a test instance and always backup config when messing about with master (especially when latest commits talk about changes to config migration )
