Tvheadend

I'm not sure why you can't just intall it the repository way - 12.04 is supported and the package is there. Have you got problems doing that?

However, if you really, really like doing things the odd way, I suppose you could always download it directly from the repo: http://apt.tvheadend.org/stable/pool/main/t/tvheadend/

I can see the multiple i386 packages there.

Really... follow the instructions, add the repository, install from there and all of this would be sorted out for you, plus you'd get automatic upgrades as they come out:

I suppose you know this, though, since you know you need an i386 deb and must know how to use dpkg to install it, so I won't labour the point any more on that one!

32-bit Ubuntu 12.04 is i386 Precise, and you don't need the dbg (debug) versions, so tvheadend_3.4.27~gfbda802~precise_i386.deb looks like a suitable candidate.
