Added by ruud - almost 11 years ago
Hi,
running latest master (january 4th) from git.
when trying to watch tv from the webbrowser tab [electronic program guide] > [Watch TV]) the window shows, when selection a channel it displays 'Loading' and finally results in an error: 'An unknown error occurred'
please note that the channel is fully functional and displays just fine from within XBMC.

You need to allow in the configuration the transcoding option. But beware, it consumes a lot of cpu using it that way..
For direct streaming use either the play beside the program list or install the vlc-plugin, allowing you to swiching channels from the playlist

I do not understand what has changed in this version.
in version 3.4 Firefox would always load 'Totem' (player) in the window and stream without transcoding?
Only thing changed is tvheadend version.
