Disabling services in the "Services" tab
Added by Michael Neurohr about 12 years ago
Hi!
I'm using Tvheadend version 2.99 and I'm wondering what the "Enable" check box in the Services tab is for. When disabling a service, the service does not disappear in the Channels list as I'm expecting.
How can I make most channel to disappear in the Channels list without deleting one by one? I would like to hide about 1200 channels of the 1450 in the list.
Thanks,
newpipe

Uncheck the services you don't want, then go to the channels tab, highlight the channels you don't want and delete them. The reason that just unchecking them doesn't work is that they've already been mapped to a channel. Seems like it should, but it doesn't.

Hi!
Thanks for that hint! Finally I got it to work.
I just deleted all channels in the "Channels" tab and mapped the channels again. Now I've only the channels I wanted :-)
