Table of working / partly working hardware for Tvheadend

Added by Nico Vana over 12 years ago

Wouldn't it be an idea to have a community maintained page of working / partly working / non working hardware for Tvheadend ? Showing Brand, type, and status (green, orange, red)

After fiddling for hours with a Technotrend S3200 CI, which works fine in Kaffeine, I found out it will not work with TVheadend.

It gets 'no signal' on all transponders.

Did you look at this post, seems to describe a similar problem, and in there some other driver seems to be recommended for the S3200 which solves the issue:

I tried compiling s2-liplianin drivers, but get stuck in several compilation errors which are related to 3.x kernel. T_DIGITAL_TV kind of defines which are missing, I can fix these issues, just after that the bigger problems start appearing with the 'v4l2_i2c_new_subdev' functions. This is where I have to give up trying to port the old s2-liplianin driver sources to 3.x.
