Does Anyone Have A Good Tutorial For Setting User-Generated Picons
Added by Mike Whalon over 2 years ago
System (Homebuilt MediaCenter; ca. 2013) Recently upgraded:
TV Tuner: Hauppague WinTV-HVR-2250
OS: Linux Mint 20.3 (Cinamon 5.2.7); Linux Kernel 5.4.0-99-generic (X86_64)
Kodi 19.3
HTS Tvheadend 4.3-2005~ga0bbcc055
This system is currently working fine. Seeking to add additional tweaks to make it 'stellar'. Previously, I was running Linux Mint 18.3, Kodi 18.9, and Tvheadend 4.2.9 with home-built channel picons (.png) working. I can't seem to get picons working with my current setup.
Have attempted downloading picon sets and configuring Tvheadend according to,
https://www.sindastra.de/p/1491/configure-tvheadend-channel-icons
Files generated in 'User Icon' field appear correct, but only a couple of picons are found/displayed.
I have a directory of home-built picons matching local stations that I can 'bring in'. Is there a way to simply place these in /home/hts/picons and point to it from the 'user icon' field?
Thanks for any advice
