Getting Tvheadend to work with my DVBSky 960
Added by newbie Raf about 3 years ago
Hey All
I am struggling to get my DVBSky 960 to get services within TVheadend and I wondered if you could help me I work in IT but in fact I am total newbie when it comes to Linux.
My setup is as follows:
- Hybrid LNB running Sky Q (in the UK) and Freesat. Freesat is working fine on my LG TV
- DVBSky 960 connected to the LNB (not sure which port)
- DBVSky 960 connected via USB to Raspberry Pi 3b
- Raspberry is running Raspian lite and TVHeadend 4.2.8
- TV Headend has recognized the 960 but I have not complied any firmware or drivers just because I don't know how to
- Mux is set at 11428H
The current problem is whatever I do I cannot get any services scanned and TVheadend is showing SNR and Signal as unknown. However, as above Freesat works perfectly when connecting to a normal TV.
Please also see a couple of screenshots from my TVHeadend

Yes I have and all is working great thank you. Now I’m trying to get TVH working with ppex and wondering if anyone has tried and got that working?
