USB TV stick (tuner) is not displayed
Added by Thomas Heiderer almost 4 years ago
Hello!
I am currently using DVBLink with the DVBLogic USB TV stick TVButler (DVB-C/T/T2 (100tc)), which "currently" still works without any problems. "Now I am looking for an alternative in the event that DVBLink should no longer work. Well have I saw that allegedly you can also watch or record live TV via Tvheadent. Is that correct?
So I have now installed Tvheadent on my Synology DS416play. Unfortunately, it doesn't show my USB TV stick (tuner). Supposedly this should be displayed under Configuration - DVB Inputs - TV adapters, is that correct? What am I doing wrong if he doesn't? In the DSM under "Info-Center" it is named "TS Aggregator - Dexatek Technology Ltd." displayed.
I hope that someone can help me.

Hello.
Unfortunately, I don't know my way around very well. How can I check this?
I also have one more fundamental question: Is it even possible for USB-C sticks to be recognized by Synology at Tvheadend? I read that Synology does not support USB-C. On the other hand, it works with DVBLink without problems.

Could it possibly be because my TV tuner cannot be found because I am currently running DVBLink?
