hello guys!
Who know how install TBS 6905 drivers on Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS?
I do it by this guide and everything goes well, I mean: install, updates and atc. but drivers are not installed and TVH can not found any adapters

Be 100% shure that not use UEFI and secure boot

UEFI and secure boot has NOTHING to do with the installation of TBS drivers. Obviously
Sergos system is up and running ("I do it by this guide"") - so please don't give
"hints" which are completly misleading.

hi all,

I have my TBS in a thunderbolt enclosure. Here is the script I use to install the drivers. I use this after each kernel new version. The script will use the latest github code from TBS

#!/bin/bash

#install compile essentials
sudo apt --yes install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
sudo apt --yes install build-essential
sudo apt --yes install patchutils libproc-processtable-perl
sudo apt --yes install dvb-apps
# add --allow-unauthenticated if failing gpg signature check

#download firmware
wget http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/document/linux/tbs-tuner-firmwares_v1.0.tar.bz2
sudo tar jxvf tbs-tuner-firmwares_v1.0.tar.bz2 -C /lib/firmware/

#new build
git clone https://github.com/tbsdtv/media_build.git
git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/tbsdtv/linux_media.git -b latest ./media
cd media_build
make dir DIR=../media
make distclean
make allyesconfig
make -j4
sudo make install

#build and make tbs opensource drivers
sudo make rmmod
sudo modprobe saa716x_tbs-dvb
lspci
dmesg | grep frontend

#load "saa716x_tbs-dvb" modules
echo saa716x_tbs-dvb | sudo tee /etc/modules-load.d/tbs.conf

#install dvb-apps
sudo apt --yes install dvb-apps
sudo lsdvb

sudo reboot

Seems that the problem is already solved. And it was no UEFI or secure boot issue.

For more information translate his nickname from German language.

I see that you stoped writing about technical issues. Instead
your are trying to insult me.

Remember: YOU started this.

But also here you are too dump to understand: the "Depp vom Dienst" is
coming from legal law. It means that some poor guy has to take
the responsibility to talk to the complete idiots.

So: I'm mostly talking to you. What do you think does this mean ?

I'm more then 10 years in this community,
but all this time there is no element as you,
delete your account if not accept reality.

p.s.
Sergo Aphkhazava still waiting for your help.

More nonsens because Quantity means nothing.

For 10 years you have wasted other peoples time ? That means
that you literally annihilated man years which were not used
to improve tvh. Instead people where searching for non-existing
"UEFI issues" "secure boot" problems.

Or latley: missing link between network and adapter.

IMHO the only person having problems with the
perception of reallity is you.

You think that you know a lot - but in fact more than
80% of your contributions is just bullshit.

You dont help people. You drive people away from this forum because
they get no help. They get stupid hints.

RE: Adapter Problem - Added by Dave H over 3 years ago

I'm looking forward to how other people vote as to the value of 'saen acro's and 'Der Depp vom Dienst's contributions :) I don't know but I don't think there's a voting mechanism, or a like button, on this forum so I suggest that other people just state who they think helped after their problem has been solved.

Great idea. Important: revert possibility. Sometimes it takes a while to realize how stupid a contribution is.

I suggest that other people just state who they think helped after their problem has been solved.

Most probably: will not work.

After people have spend hours on stupid hints (UEFI !) they simply turn away. You
can easily see this effect when looking on the account data.

My job here is to save people from wasting time.
