Failed to scan chanels tvheadend DVB-C T230C2 MyGica

Added by Klein Johns about 4 years ago

Hi all,

I bought two T230C DVB-C MyGica adapters and I can't make it work.

I was trying 2 different OS ( Coreelec and Libreelec).

Tvheadend recognizes the adapter on both when I'm using crazycat driver, everything looks ok.

when I'm trying to scan I'm getting: failed.

Are you shure that cable tv is in DVB standard?
In Brazil terrestrial tv is in Japanese ATSC standart.

Actually you are wrong, Japanese and Brazilian aerial tv use ISDBT standard.

Moreover, in Brazil you can use DVB-C cable from a provider company. I have a KIII Pro tv box that finds all tv channels on dvb-c using tvheadend.

I'm not wrong I'm ask is it possible.
But if your device have dvb-c tuner and found channels

try to scan with WSCAN
first deactivate tuner in TVHeadend

w_scan -f c -x

if no success then driver not work

Install it first, simple logic.

And because maby next question is "How to install it"
There is a addon in Kodi interface.

Hi,

I used your firmware files for my adapter T230C2, and finally I success to install it (all the firmware that I tried before, give me errors), but no services are recognised during the scan.

Could you help me to fix it?

thanks

RE: Failed to scan chanels tvheadend DVB-C T230C2 MyGica - Added by daonguyen minhnhat almost 2 years ago

I had the same problem as surfparadise .

I use a settopbox device to tune DVBC channels and there is no problem with the signal. Only when using TVH to scan DVBC channels, it fails
