TVheadend VM + Tuners from DVBViewer Media Server
Added by Sven B over 4 years ago
Hi i tried to connect my TVHeadend 4.2.8 (Ubuntu 19.10) with my Tuners of a Windows System (DVBViewer Media Server).
TVHEadend found my 2 Tuners (SAT IP), i created a ASTRA 19.2E Network, but when i scan for muxes i get everytime the following errors:
2020-03-28 09:49:00.691 subscription: 060B: "scan" subscribing to mux "12012V", weight: 6, adapter: "SAT>IP DVB-S Tuner #1 (192.168.178.24)", network: "Astra 19.5E", service: "Raw PID Subscription"
2020-03-28 09:49:00.698 satip: SAT>IP DVB-S Tuner #1 (192.168.178.24) - RTSP error -5 (Input/output error) [6-0]
i think i tried every tuner setting in TVH in every combination, someone get it running or can try to help?

Add manually mux to your "Astra 19.5E" network

Just reinstalled all.
I dont chnage anything in DVBViewer Media Server, and i dont create a channellist.
In TVHeadend i only hyve to disable Fast Switching.
So on my Windows Machine is Kodi and DVBViewer Media Server for my PCIe Tuners.
My VMware Ubuntu VM contains TVHeadend 4.2.9 and OSCam.

A separate NIC (Host Only) should be used for communication between the DBVlink Media Server and the VM and, if necessary, the data stream of the service should be directed to this NIC via a firewall rule.
Otherwise there will be errors in the UDP data stream (jerks, artifacts and faulty exceptions).
