Sending streams to a remote server
Added by Leonardo Pagotto almost 5 years ago
Hello!
My server is running on Ubuntu 18.03 LTS Server Edition. I have 2 Ethernet adapters, one in DHCP for WAN and another one fixed IP intended to be used to streaming in a secondary network to a remote server.
I'm managing to play streams locally by VLC, but I need to send TS to the remote transcoder. Either UDP multicast or HTTP HLS would work for me. I have no idea how to do it, would you guys, please, help me?
Thanks!
LP

Hi Saen
Please, I wrote "Either UDP multicast or HTTP HLS would work for me", so my transcoder can take HLS, I use Antik for that, it's located in another location, I have private network linking both places.
Thanks,
LP

I give you link to software with make multicast.
Use it be happy.
Configure it then start it in network where trancoder is,
and problem solved.
