Using multiple Pis with one endpoint dns name?
Added by Steve G over 5 years ago
Hi,
I'm new to the forum after just setting up my first tvheadend server on a rpi Its great a bit of software but I was thinking now if I could extend my mini project out over 2 Pi's with 2 receivers in each Pi. Ideally I only would want one endpoint address rather than 2 different addresses. Whats the best way to have one internal dns name spread across the 2 Pi's. Can I cluster them, should I use Nginx as a frontend somehow?
If anybody could give me a few pointers/options that would be great!!!
Many thanks!!!

Note to others. I finally resolved this by setting up the SAT -> IP server

Steve,
I asked this question a week ago as I hadn't found your one here...would you care to share how you did it as I'm struggling to find details on SAT -> IP setup .
Thanks in advance!
