Automatic IPTV does not import all m3u entries

Added by Ivan Ivanov about 6 years ago

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to setup TVH from a m3u file that is supplied by my IPTV provider.
This list contains around 800 entries but when creating the Automatic IPTV network it creates only 11 muxes (and 11 services).

I have followed the instructions from https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/Automatic_IPTV_Network
That means I've disabled the "Scan after creation" checkbox and tried setting non-zero values for the SID.
What is strange is that I get different SID for every manually-added service (as suggested in the tutorial).
There are no error messages in the log as far as I can tell.

Does anyone have any idea what I might be misconfiguring?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Go to Channel/EPG tab, then to bouquets and select IPTV Automatic Network.
Then press Edit, under Avanced settings on Channel mapping options.. select everething you see in there, and press Save. :)

Hello and many thanks for the reply!

I tried what you suggested (I had to tick "Create bouquet" in the IPTV Automatic Network settings in order to see it in the Bouquet list) but sadly it did not show all channels.
In column "Services seen" I find the same number as in the Muxes tab - 11.

In fiddling with the settings in the past few days I managed to get all 800-ish entries to load, but silly me, I can't remember what setting did I set to make it work...

Hello again, I've done this twice, and that worked for me, have you push the force scan button?
remember to have the playlist.m3u file, in the same path it had when you scanned.
